Dear Members of Congress,
We are students at the German International School of New York. We are students that are tired of watching the news and hearing that yet another shooter killed innocent children in the place that is supposed to be a safe zone, a safe environment to learn, grow and thrive. Instead, we now fear for our lives; and, frankly, we are sick of it.
That is why we decided to fear no longer, but to march, to write, to protest, and to fight for our lives.
Now, we ask you as our representatives to support us in this fight.
We ask you to:
Ban assault weapons and high capacity magazines.
Expand background checks to all gun sales.
Pass Federal Gun Violence Restraining Order Law.
Fund government research on gun violence.
Promote safe gun storage.
Not Promote Weapons for Teachers
